2nd Saturday Art Walk TM is a monthly event.
It takes place in the East Village Art District, Downtown Long Beach, every second Saturday of each month. . *** . .Long Beach Masterpiece
Contest At 5:00 pm during each event everyone can submit one original art work to our contest. Submissions have to be delivered to Hellada Gallery, 117 Linden Ave. The artist has to be present at the Art Walk to enter. Panel of judges will select the most creative work called Long Beach Masterpiece. The judges, consistent of well established Long Beach artists will announce the winner at 6:00pm. The Art Walk takes place around the streets of Linden Ave, 1st Street, Broadway, 4th Street, and Elm. Local art galleries and retail businesses such as gift shops, boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops stay open until late evening. Linden Avenue is closed to the traffic and transformed into a street art fair by local artists. Two stages are dedicated to street performances and live music. Anyone is welcome. . 2nd Saturday Art Walks hours are from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Admission is free. . FREE Parking from 3:00PM to 10:00PM at LOT #7, (Elm and Broadway) . . Additional
Parking is available in nearby
structures and parking lots for about $7-$15/day or... free by chance on
nearby streets. . Find Your Art .
Come and stroll through the Art District galleries. Watch the art
performances. Have a dinner with friends or

to become a participant? are welcome. For the artist's booths we accept donations anytime. For the art & craft vendors the first day to register is 7 days before the event at 12:00 o'clock by calling 562.682-9735. After you receive the confirmation number, please fill out the artist info card and send it along with the payment to 2nd Saturday Art Walk, 117 Linden Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802. You may also use our donate button on the top of this page to submit payment via PayPal. Using PayPal does not require submitting the artist info card. First come first serve rule is applied. Please make the checks payable to 2nd Saturday Art Walk. The donation is not refundable rains or shines. We supply electricity for simple lighting. Artists bring their own set-up and lights (one power strip, 20ft extension cord and fluoresced lights please). We encouraged vendors to create an unique and original station. *** Sale or serving food requires special Health Department permit and additional fees.
