Saturday Art WalkTM is a monthly event.
It takes place in the East Village Arts District, Downtown Long Beach every
second Saturday of each month. New
at the Art Walk! Every time you buy an item at the 2nd Saturday Art Walk you will receive an Art Walk Masterpiece coupon. You can also buy these coupons for $1.00ea at the registration booth. At 9:00 pm the winning coupon will be selected and announced. The winner’s prize is an original Art Walk Masterpiece. What
is the Art Walk Masterpiece? Between 4:00pm and 8:00pm a live outdoor painting workshop will be open to anyone to participate. Each participant has to bring their own tools and no larger than 8” x 10” painting surface. All media are welcome. At 8:00 pm we will collect the works and submit them to the panel of judges to choose the most creative piece called Art Walk Masterpiece. Best artist will be awarded $75.00. The Art Walk Masterpiece becomes a property of the organizers.
The
Art Walk takes place around the streets of Ocean Blvd, Linden Ave, 1st
Street, Broadway
and Elm. Local art
galleries and retail businesses such as gift shops, boutiques,
restaurants and coffee shops stay open until late evening. Linden Avenue is
closed to the traffic and transformed into a street art fair by local
artists. Two stages are dedicated to street performances and live
music. Anyone is welcome. 2nd Saturday
Art Walks hours are from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Admission is free.
Parking is available in nearby
structures and parking lots for about $4.00/day or... free by chance on
nearby streets. . Find Your Art! .
Come and stroll through the East Village galleries. Watch the art
performances. Have a dinner with friends or

to become a participant? artist info card and send it along with the payment to 2nd Saturday Art Walk, 117 Linden Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802. Make the checks payable to 2nd Saturday Art Walk. The donation is not refundable rains or shines. We supply electricity for simple lighting. Artists bring their own set-up. *** Sale or serving food requires special Health Dept. permit and additional fees.
